During a recent visit to Synthesia’s new office space in New York, I had the opportunity to witness firsthand the innovative use of AI avatars in the world of corporate affairs. Synthesia, a leading digital avatar startup with a $4 billion valuation, has been making waves with its interactive training videos featuring AI avatars. One of the most intriguing aspects of my visit was the introduction of my very own AI avatar, trained to respond to questions related to my work as a journalist.

Before meeting my digital twin, I had been somewhat indifferent to the concept of avatars. However, the experience of interacting with a virtual version of myself made me realize the potential impact of AI avatars on everyday online life.
