High-Flying Adventures and Retro Sci-Fi Thrills: A Week in PC Gaming

Greetings everyone, and welcome to another exciting week in the world of PC gaming! As much as I would love to extend my holiday a bit longer, it’s time to dive back into the world of video game journalism. But fear not, because there are plenty of new and interesting PC games to keep us entertained. Here’s a roundup of the latest releases for this week.

Monday 28th September

• First up, we have Camp Whittlewood, a pixelart horror RPG that takes you on a camping trip with cub scouts in the deep forest. Don’t worry, there are no serial killers in sight.
• If camping isn’t your thing, HR: Human Remains puts you in the shoes of an office clerk in Hell after humans lose a war with demons. Your goal? Get through your to-do list or face the Maw.
• Yots is a co-op extraction game with a PS1 aesthetic, set in a procgen city reminiscent of Silent Hill. Fans of Mechwarrior will also enjoy Drop Command, a mix of cockpit combat and 4X elements.

Tuesday 29th September

• Nivalis Nights offers a cyberpunk twist on restaurant management and life simulation games. Toem 2 is a diorama platformer and photography puzzler, perfect for fans of the original Toem.
• Transport Fever 3 lets you indulge in some infrastructure meddling, while Tiny Flock takes VR shepherding to a whole new level with circus machines and great white sharks.

Wednesday 30th September

• Radiosol immerses you in a fallen world as a mechanical spider, with genAI translating the game into multiple languages. Okko The Exiled is a stunning 2D sidescroller, while Songs of Glimmerwick combines witchcraft and music in a magical RPG adventure.
• Crusader Kings 3: By God Alone is the latest expansion that lets you rule the Vatican and indulge in some un-Christian activities.

Thursday 1st October

• Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered brings back the classic musou masher with updated graphics. RetroSpace puts you in the shoes of a janitor trying to survive inside a space station trapped in a black hole.
• Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve offers thrilling aerial combat in the latest installment from Bamco.

Friday 2nd October
