While the film is expected to be a box office success, reviews are not as glowing as the first installment. If you are reconsidering watching it now or have no immediate plans to see it in theaters, we’ve got you covered.

The film is currently showing in cinemas. UK viewers can purchase tickets from Cineworld, Vue, and Odeon, while American viewers can find tickets at AMC Theatres and Fandango.

When Will Wicked: For Good be Released on VOD/Digital?

Prior to its availability on streaming platforms like Netflix, Wicked: For Good will first be released digitally for rental and purchase.

Unfortunately, Universal has not confirmed a release date for this. However, taking cues from the first Wicked film, which premiered on 31 December 2024 in the US and 3 January 2025 in the UK after its theatrical release on 22 November 2024, it’s possible that you may be able to watch Wicked: For Good at home from 30 December 2025 in the US and from 2 January 2026 in the UK.

When Could Wicked: For Good be Released on Streaming Platforms?

Unfortunately, the wait for Wicked: For Good to appear on streaming services may be longer than for digital release. The first platform to stream it will likely be NBC’s Peacock, where Wicked took four months to arrive, landing on 21 March 2025. By estimation, you may not be able to stream Wicked: For Good via subscription until around the second half of March 2026.

In the UK, Universal films typically debut on Sky Cinema and Now’s Cinema Memberships. Wicked took eight months to reach these platforms, releasing on 11 July 2025. Therefore, UK viewers might have to wait until July 2026 to stream Wicked: For Good.

While these dates are not definite, the release pattern of recent Universal films like Jurassic World Rebirth suggests that these predictions are plausible.

When Could Wicked: For Good be Released on DVD/Blu-ray?

The physical release of the first Wicked film fell between the VOD and streaming releases. The US release was on 4 February 2025, while the UK release followed on 10 March 2025.

Based on this trend, a reasonable prediction for the DVD/Blu-ray release of Wicked: For Good would be in spring 2026.
