Unveiling the Red Bull RB17 Hypercar: A Closer Look at its Ultimate Design
Red Bull Unveils RB17 Hypercar in Updated Production Form
Red Bull has officially revealed its highly anticipated hypercar, the RB17, in its latest production version. After initial leaks of the pre-production model surfaced online less than a year ago, the public can now get a glimpse of the RB17 v2.0.
The latest iteration of the RB17 showcases several enhancements from the original 2024 concept. Notable features include distinctive L-shaped LED headlamps, a Formula 1-style sidepod with deep undercuts, and a rear design reminiscent of the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR. Furthermore, the production model is expected to include a prominent shark fin extending from the roof scoop.

Renowned designer Adrian Newey has been meticulously refining the RB17’s design in recent months. One significant update includes repositioning the exhaust onto the spine of the engine cover for improved performance.

The heart of the Red Bull RB17 is a potent Cosworth-built 4.5-liter V10 engine, capable of revving up to 15,000 rpm and producing an impressive 986 horsepower. Complementing the combustion engine is a 197 horsepower electric motor that aids in torque delivery at lower speeds.
