The Ferrari F80 Production Line: A Closer Look

As the Ferrari F80 continues to roll off the production line at the Maranello factory, enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the arrival of these hypercars at dealerships worldwide. Each unit undergoes meticulous inspection before being shipped out for delivery.

Recently, a unique F80 caught the attention of onlookers during a pre-delivery test. This particular model, one of the limited 799 units, sported a striking matte electric yellow exterior, a shade dubbed Giallo Kuramochi by Ferrari. The addition of the Italian flag on the rear wing further accentuated its exclusivity.

This bespoke F80, part of Ferrari’s Tailor Made program, is slated for delivery in the coming weeks, promising further glimpses of its unique design on the road.

Under the hood, the F80 boasts a potent 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine generating 900 hp. Complementing the internal combustion powerplant is an electric front axle and an F1-inspired MGU-K, contributing an additional 300 hp for a combined output of 1200 hp.

Ferrari’s performance claims for the F80 are equally impressive, with a 0-62 mph sprint time of just 2.15 seconds. Accelerating to 124 mph takes a mere 5.75 seconds, culminating in a top speed of 217 mph. The hypercar’s braking capabilities are equally noteworthy, with a stopping distance of just 28 meters from 62 mph.

In December 2025, the first customer F80 was delivered in the UK, setting the stage for more deliveries worldwide. The destination of this electric yellow F80 remains a mystery, adding to the anticipation surrounding this exceptional hypercar.
