Introducing the Powerful 2026 Aston Martin DB12 S: Unleashing 690 Horsepower with V8 Engine

The 2026 Aston Martin DB12 S: A Closer Look
The 2026 Aston Martin DB12 S is the latest addition to the DB12 lineup, taking the top spot as the most powerful variant. Following the announcement of the successor to the DB11 GT by Aston Martin almost two years ago, the unveiling of the 2026 DB12 marks the completion of this new model.
Starting with the S trim, the DB12 is equipped with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 690 horsepower, while the non-S variant offers 670 horsepower, showcasing a 20 horsepower difference between the two.
The peak torque remains steady at 590 pound-feet, delivered at 2750 rpm. With the introduction of a new launch control system, the DB12, particularly the S variant, can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, an improvement of 0.1 seconds.
One of the notable upgrades to the 2026 Aston Martin DB12 is the new quad-tip exhaust system, constructed from titanium material. This enhancement not only increases the noise level by 1.5 decibels but also reduces the car’s weight by 26 pounds.

Aston Martin has meticulously engineered the chassis of the DB12 to enhance agility and precision, establishing a strong connection between the driver and the vehicle. The inclusion of a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, software adjustments in the dampers, and modifications to the toe and caster geometry settings aim to improve the front-to-end feel and driver confidence.
Furthermore, updates and tuning on the electronically controlled rear differential enable the driver to apply throttle earlier in corners, ultimately enhancing overall speeds.

Standard on the S variant are carbon ceramic brakes, while optional for other variants at an additional cost of $14,500. These brakes not only enhance braking performance and manage heat production but also save 60 pounds compared to steel brakes.
On the exterior, the DB12 features a new dual front splitter and hood louvers to improve airflow, available in gloss black or exposed carbon fiber finishes. The louvers play a key role in extracting hot air from the turbo.
The body of the car boasts new side slides that complement the lines of the splitter, all finished in gloss black. Below, a matching rear diffuser works in conjunction with the rear fixed spoiler to reduce rear-end lift.

Inside the 2026 Aston Martin DB12, various interior color options are available, including Accelerate leather and Alcantara, Inspire S semi-aniline leather and Alcantara, or Inspire S full semi-aniline leather. The configuration includes herringbone quilting and an Alcantara headliner.

Additional interior features include a heated sports steering wheel, a choice between standard 16-way Sports Plus electric seats or optional carbon fiber performance bucket seats to reduce the car’s weight.

The 2026 DB12 S variant is currently open for orders, with anticipated deliveries in early 2026. While exact pricing details are yet to be released, it is estimated to start around $270,000 to $290,000.
