Marathon Game Launch Confirmed for March 5th

Bungie has officially announced that the highly anticipated game, Marathon, is set to be released on March 5th. This confirmation comes after Bungie initially revealed in December that the game would be launching in the month of March. Along with this announcement, a new pre-order trailer has been unveiled, showcasing additional gameplay footage from Marathon and detailing the pre-order bonuses available for the standard, deluxe, and collector editions.

Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

Players who pre-order Marathon will receive a variety of exclusive content, including the ZERO STEP 004 CE Tactical Sidearm Style, ZERO STEP RC Weapon Charm, ZERO STEP SHIFT Weapon Sticker, APOGEE INTERCEPT Background, and the APOGEE INTERCEPT Emblem. Additionally, Destiny 2 players who have their Bungie account linked will also receive bonuses such as the UESC Echo-type Shell Exotic Ghost, UESC Rover Exotic Ship, and UESC Sprinter Exotic Sparrow.

Deluxe Edition Details

The Marathon Deluxe edition will include a Premium Rewards Pass Voucher, 200 SILK Rewards Pass Tokens for unlocking rewards, as well as exclusive weapon cosmetics like the MIDNIGHT DECAY Misriah 2442 Pump Shotgun Style and MIDNIGHT DECAY Overrun AR Style. Players will also receive unique Runner Shell Cosmetics, including the MIDNIGHT DECAY Vandal Shell Style, MIDNIGHT DECAY Destroyer Shell Style, MIDNIGHT DECAY Assassin Shell Style, and MIDNIGHT DECAY Thief Shell Style.

Collector’s Edition Unveiled

For those looking for the ultimate Marathon experience, the Collector’s Edition offers everything included in the Deluxe Edition, along with additional exclusive items such as a 1/6th scale Thief Runner shell statue with LED lights, a collectible WEAVEworm miniature, an iron-on embroidered patch, six art postcards, and premium hexagon packaging with a lenticular poster. The Collector’s Edition also features in-game bonus cosmetics for purchasing from the Bungie Store or PlayStation Direct, including the ZERO STEP Emblem and ZERO STEP Background.

Special PS5 Limited Edition DualSense

Players planning to experience Marathon on the PS5 can also opt for the Marathon Limited Edition DualSense controller, priced at €84.99 / £74.99. Pre-orders for this special edition DualSense will open on January 26th, offering a unique and immersive gameplay experience for PS5 users.
