AI Autopilot: CodeWords Secures €7.6 Million to Transform Business Operations in London
CodeWords Secures €7.6 Million Seed Round to Expand Operations
CodeWords, a London-based AI platform, has successfully raised a Seed round of €7.6 million ($9 million) to support the growth of its go-to-market and engineering teams. The funding will fuel the expansion of its innovative AI agent, Cody, designed to streamline business operations.
The investment round was led by Visionaries, with backing from Firstminute Capital, Sequel, and Illusian, the family office of Europe’s top unicorn founders. Notable angel investors and advisors, including industry leaders from Miro, Zalando, and Supercell, also participated in the funding round.
“The best operators don’t wait to be asked. We built Cody on the same principle — an agent that learns about your business, anticipates needs, and delivers results,” stated Aymeric Zhuo, co-founder of CodeWords.
Founded by Aymeric Zhuo and Osman Ramadan, CodeWords introduces Cody, an AI agent that proactively learns about users’ businesses and automates tasks without manual intervention. Cody operates on CodeWords’ infrastructure, continuously improving its performance over time.
Initially known as Agemo, an AI research lab specializing in neurosymbolic reasoning, CodeWords transitioned to focus on building a practical AI agent for businesses. This shift led to the development of Cody, which eliminates the need for manual coding, deployment, or maintenance.
Unlike traditional AI tools, CodeWords empowers Cody to take proactive actions based on the business’s requirements. Cody’s ability to understand tools, objectives, and patterns enables it to suggest and implement automations efficiently.
CodeWords highlights real-world scenarios where Cody streamlines processes, such as content creation and lead generation, across various integrations and messaging platforms. Cody’s personalized AI approach distinguishes it from conventional automation tools.
“CodeWords aims to revolutionize automation by offering personalized AI solutions tailored for non-technical users. Cody operates seamlessly on CodeWords’ infrastructure, managing all deployment and maintenance tasks,” emphasized the company.
In addition to the funding round, CodeWords introduces three new features: contextual memory, WhatsApp integration, and adaptive Cody modes. These enhancements enhance Cody’s ability to anticipate user needs and deliver customized automation solutions.
“Our goal is to make Cody the go-to assistant for every business, enabling teams to operate efficiently without extensive IT support. Cody’s continuous learning approach ensures seamless business operations,” stated Osman Ramadan, co-founder of CodeWords.
CodeWords envisions Cody as an indispensable ally that enhances business productivity, adaptability, and efficiency, catering to diverse operational needs. Through its AI-driven solutions, CodeWords aims to empower businesses of all sizes to thrive in a dynamic marketplace.
