In a recent announcement, Bovensiepen, an emerging automaker headquartered in Buchloe, Germany, reveals its strategic realignment across five distinct sectors: Bovensiepen Automobile, engineering and developmental services, BMW Service facilities, vehicle retailing, and authentic spare parts tailored for vehicles manufactured in Buchloe until 2025. The name resonates with familiarity, tracing back to the Bovensiepen lineage behind ALPINA, the iconic Buchloe establishment established by Burkard Bovensiepen in 1965, renowned for crafting some of the world’s most exclusive BMW-based performance luxury cars. With BMW’s slated acquisition of the ALPINA brand, effective from January 1, 2026, the family enterprise has been diligently preparing for its next phase.

The unfolding narrative now unveils Bovensiepen Automobile as the flagship luxury vehicle division responsible for the exquisite Bovensiepen Zagato. This limited-edition grand tourer, designed by Zagato and meticulously assembled in Buchloe, boasts 611 horsepower, a lightweight carbon-fiber body construction, and demands over 250 hours of manual craftsmanship per vehicle. Initial production of customer units is slated to commence in the latter half of 2026.
