Apple releases first iOS 27.2 public beta with new iPhone Health app

Apple has recently rolled out the second public beta for iOS 27.2, which introduces the highly anticipated Health app for iPhone users. Following the official release of iOS 27 on September 14, iOS 27.1 was exclusively for iPhone Duo users.

The initial iOS 27.2 public beta brought several key updates, including the revamped Health app that was initially revealed during the iPhone 18 Pro event. Additionally, Group FaceTime now features Dual capture mode, and Siri AI language support has been expanded to include French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Furthermore, iPhone users can now access Apple TV app profiles and enjoy the New Episodes feature in Apple Podcasts.

Apple Music has also received a subtle update, with less emphasis on the icon’s color for labels within the app. iOS 27.2 is scheduled for an official release later this month, offering both developer and public beta options for early access to the new Health app.

For those interested in testing the latest features ahead of the official rollout, Apple provides a developer beta and public beta pathway for iPhone users. Stay tuned for more updates on iOS 27.2 and its exciting new additions.
