AI-powered Marketing Platform, Nectar Social, Secures $30 Million in Series A Round

Nectar Social, an innovative AI-powered marketing platform, recently announced the successful completion of a $30 million Series A funding round. The investment was led by Menlo Ventures and the Anthology Fund, in partnership with Anthropic.

Emerging from stealth mode last year, Nectar Social operates as an agentic system designed specifically for marketers. Utilizing autonomous AI agents, the platform enables brands to streamline various marketing activities such as social engagement, moderation, creator workflows, competitive analysis, and commerce interactions.

One of Nectar Social’s key features is its strategic data partnerships with major companies like Meta and Reddit. These collaborations allow the platform to aggregate data from multiple sources, providing brands with a centralized solution for managing their online presence across different platforms.

Founded by former Meta employees, Misbah and Farah Uraizee, Nectar Social is led by Misbah as the CEO. With the recent funding, the company plans to expand its operations and hire talent in the fields of applied AI, engineering, and market development.

In a statement to TechCrunch, Misbah highlighted the importance of Nectar Social’s role in the evolving marketing landscape. She emphasized that the platform enables brands to engage with customers across various social channels, reflecting the shift towards online interactions in the consumer buying process.

Notable clients of Nectar Social include Liquid Death, Figma, and e.l.f Beauty. The Series A funding round also attracted investments from Kinship Ventures, GV, and True Ventures, underlining the industry’s confidence in the platform’s growth potential.
