Serial Project Releases Demo for Roguelike Dungeon Crawler RPG Serial World

Publisher Kakehashi Games and the indie studio Serial Project have recently unveiled a playable demo for their latest creation, Serial World. This unique game combines elements of a roguelike dungeon crawler with RPG mechanics.

The demo for Serial World is currently accessible for Windows PC users through the Steam platform, as part of the ongoing Steam Deckbuilder’s Fest event. Gamers can enjoy the demo until May 11th, giving them a taste of what to expect from the full release.

Serial Project, a new indie game development studio, consists of talented individuals who were once part of the renowned Level-5 team. The team includes Takashi Maeda, the programmer, and Sho Kawasaki, the artist.

Here’s a brief overview of the game:

Set in a vibrant and whimsical world that pays homage to classic RPG favorites, Serial World follows the adventures of Milo, a young protagonist on a quest to uncover the truth behind a series of mysterious disappearances in his hometown of Bricktown. In this captivating preview, players will delve into a procedurally generated dungeon alongside a trio of unique Anima characters: Porcupint, Tanibo, and Reptibud, each with their own distinct personalities and abilities.

Engage in strategic turn-based combat, where you can mix and match tactics as you assemble your battle deck, confront challenging enemies, and navigate through the dungeon in search of answers. This deckbuilding adventure offers a fun and engaging experience suitable for all age groups!
