BMW has confirmed that all build slots for the highly coveted M3 CS Handschalter have been allocated to dealers. This limited-edition model, serving as a farewell to the G80 generation, has generated immense interest among BMW enthusiasts.

With a higher demand for manual transmissions in the United States, the decision to reintroduce the M3 CS with a manual gearbox was a strategic move by BMW. The Handschalter variant of the M3 CS is set to be the G80’s swan song, with production expected to conclude by 2027.

Despite the lack of specific production numbers disclosed by BMW, the M3 CS Handschalter has proven to be a hit among dealers nationwide. A company official confirmed that all available build slots have been claimed, with most, if not all, already converted to customer sales.

According to Jeff Schatz, Press Fleet & Performance Center Communications Specialist at BMW, “All units have been allocated to dealers, and given the limited production of the M3 CS Handschalter, it would be safe to assume most, if not all units are spoken for.”
