Apple is known for its commitment to celebrating Earth Day each year by releasing its annual Environmental Progress Reports. These reports showcase the company’s advancements towards a more sustainable manufacturing economy. In addition, Apple also promotes eco-friendly content on its services like Apple Books, Apple TV, and even introduces special Apple Watch Activity Challenges.

This year, Apple continued its tradition by highlighting the environmentally friendly features of the MacBook Neo, emphasizing its commitment to sustainability. Furthermore, the company reintroduced a popular initiative from the previous year that offers direct benefits to consumers.

From now until May 16, customers can visit an Apple Store and trade in their old Apple technology for a 10% discount on various Apple accessories, including the AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 3. This promotion goes beyond what was offered in previous years, allowing customers to receive discounts on high-end accessories.

To take advantage of the 10% ‘Recycling’ Discount, customers must visit a physical Apple Store in the United States between April 16 and May 16. Unfortunately, this promotion is only valid at brick-and-mortar stores, so customers without a nearby Apple Store may not be able to participate.

This year, the list of eligible items for trade-in is more limited, focusing on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Unlike previous years, Apple is not accepting peripheral products or third-party devices. However, customers can trade in older models of Apple devices, even if they are not in working condition.

Customers can recycle up to five devices at once to receive a 10% discount on up to five Apple accessories. The discount is applied at the time of purchase, and customers must present a valid photo ID. The promotion includes a variety of accessories, such as AirPods, Beats earphones, Apple TV, Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and more.
