LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight gets an earlier release date

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 with Mayhem Collection DLC

Get ready, LEGO Batman fans! Traveller’s Tales and WB Games have officially announced that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be flying onto Nintendo Switch 2 on 18th September. What’s more, the release will coincide with the launch of the highly anticipated Mayhem Collection DLC for all platforms.

The Mayhem Collection DLC, set to be released on the same day, will be included for Deluxe Edition owners of the game. This exciting addition will introduce new story content and a brand-new game mode for players to enjoy.

The new story mission will focus on the infamous Joker and Harley Quinn, allowing players to control them for the first time in the game as they attempt to escape from Arkham Asylum. Following this mission, players can dive into the new Mayhem Mode, where they can wreak havoc on the streets of Gotham City and engage in all sorts of brick-breaking mischief. Additionally, players can look forward to the Sinister Pack, which includes new suits for each of the main game’s seven playable characters, a new Batmobile, and five additional props for customizing the Batcave.

We are absolutely thrilled with this latest addition to the LEGO Batman series, having awarded it a glowing 9/10 in our review. Our reviewer, Dom, praised the game, stating, “LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a fantastic homage to the Caped Crusader. Fans of Batman in any form – comics, films, or games – will delight in the countless references and nods scattered throughout the game.”
