Metaview Secures €53.1 Million in Series C Funding

Metaview, a London-based agentic recruiting platform revolutionizing the hiring process with AI technology, has successfully raised €53.1 million ($60 million) in its Series C funding round. This significant investment comes on the heels of the company’s previous funding rounds, including a €30.1 million Series B round, a €6.4 million Series A round in March 2024, and a €5.29 million Seed round in December 2021. With this latest funding, Metaview’s total funding now stands at an impressive €97.4 million ($110 million).

The Series C round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural, and Garuda Ventures. This strong support from leading investors underscores the confidence in Metaview’s innovative approach to recruiting.

Metaview, co-founded by Siadhal Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh in 2018, is on a mission to transform the hiring process by leveraging AI technology. Magos, a former product and engineering leader at Uber, and Tajbakhsh, a former executive at Palantir, bring a wealth of experience to the table.

The company’s AI-powered platform streamlines the entire hiring workflow, from sourcing and application review to interviewing and hiring decisions. By capturing and analyzing millions of interviews, Metaview has developed advanced AI agents that assist at every stage of the hiring process.

According to Siadhal Magos, CEO of Metaview, “The best engineering teams have already moved from writing code by hand to orchestrating AI agents that do the work. Recruiting is next. We’re rebuilding hiring with AI at the core to make it radically more efficient and precise, while creating a better system for everyone involved.”

One of Metaview’s key differentiators is its approach to AI in recruiting. While most AI systems wait for prompts, Metaview’s AI agents continuously learn and adapt, improving with each interaction. This iterative process ensures that every decision is informed by data and human judgment.

Metaview’s platform integrates with over 62 tools, including popular HR software like Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, and Workday, as well as video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Additionally, the company places a strong emphasis on data security and compliance, being SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and CCPA compliant.

In a strategic move to enhance its AI capabilities, Metaview recently acquired California-based Reval, an AI-native recruiting company. The acquisition will accelerate the development of “fillmore,” Metaview’s autonomous AI coworker that streamlines candidate outreach and screening processes.

Ryan Hinkle, Managing Director at Insight Partners, expressed excitement about the partnership with Metaview, highlighting the platform’s ability to improve hiring decisions at scale. He stated, “Metaview has built a platform that brings more structure and intelligence across each stage of hiring, from sourcing and screening through to the final decision.”

Looking ahead, Metaview plans to leverage the Series C funding to advance three key priorities. The company aims to launch fillmore to general availability, introduce new specialist agents, expand its team from 80 to 250 employees, and open a New York office to complement its existing locations in London and San Francisco.

Furthermore, Metaview is committed to fostering talent development through its 10x Recruiting program, which focuses on training talent professionals in the discipline of talent engineering—building and managing AI-powered hiring systems.
