During an earnings call, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated that necessary actions are being taken to revamp the Xbox business for sustained growth. The company aims to achieve growth in the Xbox sector by fiscal 2027.
Microsoft’s Success in AI and Cloud Business
As Microsoft focuses on advancing in AI technology, its cloud business has significantly contributed to the company’s overall revenue, reaching $90 billion. The revenue from Microsoft Cloud has surged by 27% to $59.3 billion, while productivity business revenue, including Microsoft 365 and LinkedIn, has seen a 14% increase to $37.8 billion. Notably, Microsoft 365 Copilot has exceeded 30 million paid seats, and Azure revenue has surpassed $100 billion for the first time.
