Samsung Unveils Exclusive Preview of Galaxy Z Fold 8

Samsung has confirmed the date for its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event and has now given a first official glimpse of the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

Despite its name, this model features a brand-new widescreen layout for the foldable phone, positioning it as a rival to the iPhone Ultra. The taller version we are accustomed to will be known as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.

The preview was revealed through a partnership with Spider-Man in anticipation of the ‘Brand New Day’ movie release on July 31. In the teaser image, Spider-Man appears to be interacting with the new phone, speculated to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

Although the view is limited, there are several key details that can be inferred from it.

Notably, the back of the device features only two camera modules, aligning with previous rumors that the phone will not include a telephoto lens like the Ultra model.

Additionally, the placement of the power button and volume controls near the top of the phone suggests a more compact design for the new model.

The bezel surrounding the front display appears minimal, and the color scheme of the Z Fold 8 in the teaser hints at a potential new Lavender color option.

Official details for the new Galaxy Z series are set to be unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked event scheduled for July 22 in London.
