Tech Advisor Announces Samsung Galaxy Phones Now Available on Google Play Store

You Can Now Buy Samsung Galaxy Phones on the Google Play Store

If you own an Android phone, you can now purchase Samsung Galaxy devices directly from the Google Play Store. To do so, simply load up the Play Store on your phone, click on your profile picture in the corner, scroll down, and select ‘Shop devices’. Here, you will find Google’s latest own-brand products like the Pixel 11, Pixel Watch 5, and Fitbit Air, as well as Samsung Galaxy phones.

Renowned YouTuber Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) brought attention to this new development by sharing a screenshot of the store featuring the Galaxy S26 with the caption “Capture every detail with pro-grade precision”.

Although Brownlee mentioned multiple phones being available, currently, the UK version of the Play Store does not list any Galaxy devices. Similar reports have been made for markets like India and South Africa. Additionally, the official webstore for the US and UK does not feature Samsung or other brand mobile devices.

This unexpected move suggests a strategic agreement between Google and Samsung. While it is unclear how many sales Google generates through this platform, it is noteworthy that the Galaxy S26 is prioritized over Pixel phones.

In the US, users have been able to purchase various phones through the Google Fi app for some time. It will be interesting to see if more devices, such as the upcoming Galaxy S27, will be added to the Play Store in the future. Additionally, there is anticipation for Google to expand its official web store in a similar fashion.
