Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Camera Rumors Debunked

Recent rumors circulating online suggest that Samsung may be making significant changes to the camera setup of the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra. According to a leak from phonefuturist, Samsung is reportedly testing a new 4x optical zoom telephoto lens with a 1/1.9-inch sensor specifically for the S27 Ultra model.

However, renowned tipster Ice Universe quickly refuted this claim, stating that the information from the source is unreliable and categorically false. Ice Universe asserted that Samsung will continue to use the same 5x optical zoom and 1/2.52-inch sensor in the S27 Ultra, dismissing any speculation about a switch to a new camera setup.

Adding to the debate, Roland Quandt of WinFuture chimed in, confirming that the S27 Ultra will feature a 50Mp telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a Sony sensor. Quandt emphasized that there should be no speculation about the camera specifications as the information provided is definitive.

With conflicting reports from various sources, the question of whether Samsung will introduce a new camera setup or stick with the existing one remains unanswered. The launch of the S27 range is still a few months away, leaving room for further clarification on the camera specifications as the release date approaches.
