Unlocking Enterprise Security: A Deep Dive into Project Glasswing with Visa at VB Transform 2026

Visa will offer an inside look at Project Glasswing and how the most powerful agentic models are changing enterprise security at VB Transform 2026

When Visa’s technology team began testing Anthropic’s Mythos model, they quickly realized the security implications of advanced AI models. Rajat Taneja, Visa’s president of technology, highlighted the risks observed during Project Glasswing, emphasizing how attackers can exploit vulnerabilities in critical code bases.

Visa was one of the chosen companies to test Anthropic’s new model. Despite its release on June 9, it was disabled shortly after to comply with U.S. government regulations.

Project Glasswing’s findings shed light on the expanding security gaps within enterprises and the dangers posed by malicious actors. Taneja stressed the urgency for autonomous defenses in the face of autonomous attacks.

According to Cisco’s State of AI Security 2026 report, threat actors now have access to powerful AI agents that can automate cyberattacks at a scale and speed unmatched by human teams.

Visa is taking proactive measures by implementing abstraction layers, observability, and data guardrails to secure its autonomous commerce frameworks. They have also introduced an open-source, AI-driven security framework for structured vulnerability discovery and remediation.

Enterprise IT teams must adapt to protect systems from threats posed by bad actors using autonomous agents. Taneja will delve into these insights during his session at VB Transform, discussing the importance of securing the future with projects like Glasswing and Mythos.

Additional sessions at VB Transform focusing on agentic AI security include:

  • CrabTrap: How Brex developed an open-source proxy for securing OpenClaw’s vulnerabilities with Brex’s CEO Pedro Franceschi
  • Building trust layers for autonomous B2B commerce with Mastercard’s Chief AI and Data Officer Greg Ulrich
  • Expedia’s strategy for autonomous agents in high-stakes transactional systems with Chief AI and Data Officer Xavier Amatrain
  • A panel discussion on securing agentic AI with AI security experts from Intuit, Box, and Cisco
