However, a closer look reveals that EE and O2 might not have much to worry about just yet.

The claim of “up to” 4x faster speeds should be taken with a grain of salt, as achieving such speeds is highly dependent on specific conditions.

For starters, these enhanced speeds will only be accessible in designated “high-demand areas”, which likely translates to densely populated urban areas.

Moreover, users must be within range of Vodafone 5G+ support to experience these accelerated speeds. While Vodafone states that coverage extends to over half of the UK’s population, a significant portion of users may still not have access to this service.
