Webidoo’s Success: Securing €21 Million to Expand SMB Automation Platform
Webidoo, an AI technology company based in Milan, has recently secured a €21 million ($25 million) funding round led by fund IXC3, a part of the Azimut Group. This funding will allow Webidoo to further expand its AI-driven execution model within the SMB market.
CEO Giovanni Farese of Webidoo stated, “The average small business utilizes 20 tools that do not communicate with each other. Our goal is not to create another tool but to build a layer that integrates all existing tools seamlessly. We aim to provide small and medium-sized businesses with the technology they need to succeed and compete effectively.”
Ricky Gordon, the CPO of Webidoo, emphasized the importance of providing SMBs with technology that simplifies their operations and helps them take action. The company’s platforms, including Jooice, Groow, and Welpy, are designed to make AI adoption easier and more connected to real business outcomes.
Webidoo, founded in 2017, specializes in developing AI-driven platforms that automate core business processes. Their ecosystem enables companies to implement AI solutions across marketing, sales, and operations.
With the new funding, Webidoo intends to pursue a targeted M&A strategy, focusing on acquiring client-facing SaaS companies and marketing agencies to enhance their AI platforms’ capabilities and expand their commercial reach.
In 2025, Webidoo reported revenue exceeding €15 million ($18 million) and an EBITDA of over €2.5 million ($3 million) while continuing to invest in research and product development.
Andrea Cornetti, CEO of Real Estate and Infrastructure at Azimut Group, highlighted the significance of their investment in Webidoo, emphasizing the company’s focus on delivering measurable results and scalability in the international market. The investment aligns with the IXC3 fund’s mission to support high-potential companies in complex and evolving markets.
Overall, Webidoo’s innovative approach to AI technology and commitment to enhancing SMBs’ capabilities position them as a key player in the digital landscape. Their strategic growth plans and emphasis on delivering tangible results set them apart in the competitive market.
