2026 Ford Ranger: MY26.5 Price and Specs Update

Ford Australia has recently unveiled detailed specifications for the MY26.5 Ford Ranger lineup. This comes after announcing pricing and limited specifications back in November 2025. The updated lineup includes a range of changes and additions to the popular Ford Ranger model.

One of the key updates is the availability of the turbo-diesel V6 engine across more variants of the Ford Ranger. This engine is now offered in the base XL trim, making it more accessible to customers. Additionally, the entry-level model now features an updated single-turbo 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The lineup also sees the introduction of new models such as the Black Edition and the special-edition Wolftrak, which features a sportier black and green aesthetic. Furthermore, all XL and XLT cab/chassis variants now come equipped with the Driver Assist Technology (DAT) bar, which includes features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear parking sensors.

In terms of technology and features, all models now come standard with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Wildtrak variant also gains matrix LED headlights and a 10-speaker B&O Premium sound system as standard.

Ford has made some pricing adjustments and introduced new options for customers to choose from. For example, the flexible rack system has seen a price reduction, while the auxiliary switch bank is now optional on XLT and Wildtrak V6 variants.

While there have been several additions and updates to the Ford Ranger lineup, some models have been discontinued. The Sport variant is no longer available, and the XLS is now only offered as a double-cab/chassis with the optional V6 engine.

In terms of colors, the lineup has seen some changes with the removal of Luxe Yellow and Equinox Bronze paint options. New finishes such as Traction Green, Acacia Green, and Ignite Orange are now available for customers to choose
