The Legendary Rayman Celebrates 30 Years with a Special Anniversary Edition

Rayman, the beloved platforming hero, is commemorating his thirtieth birthday with the release of the Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition, which officially launched on February 13th. Developed by Digital Eclipse, this special edition serves as a tribute to Rayman’s iconic debut game, offering fans a nostalgic journey through five different versions of the game – originally released on PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. These classic titles have been meticulously reformatted to suit modern consoles and screens, ensuring that both new and old players can enjoy the timeless charm of Rayman.

In addition to the original games, the Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition includes a treasure trove of additional content. Players can dive into 120 extra levels from the Rayman’s New Levels pack, Rayman 60 Levels, and Rayman by His Fans. Furthermore, the package features early prototypes of the game that have been polished up for playability. Enhancements such as a reimagined soundtrack by composer Christophe Héral and optional gameplay features like a 60-second rewind, instant level unlocks, and infinite lives have been added to enhance the overall gaming experience.
