Rimac Founder Mate Rimac Shifts Focus to Bugatti, Steps Down as CEO
Mate Rimac Steps Down as CEO of Rimac Technology, Nurdin Pitarević Takes Over
After a successful tenure as CEO of Rimac Technology, Mate Rimac has made the decision to step down from his role. In his place, Nurdin Pitarević, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed as the new CEO. Rimac will now be focusing on Bugatti Rimac as the CEO while continuing to support the business as the President of the Rimac Group.
As the newly appointed CEO, Pitarević will be responsible for leading Rimac Technology’s strategic roadmap for the next decade, with a strong emphasis on advanced electrification technologies, AI integration, sustainable growth, and organizational and financial stability.
Furthermore, Marko Brkljačić has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer. With a background in leadership roles at Rimac Technology and Tokić Ltd, as well as experience in strategic positions at Rimac Automobili, Brkljačić is well-equipped to take on this new role.
