These tools aim to streamline the selling process and provide users with added convenience. One of the key features includes the integration of Meta AI to automatically respond to common inquiries like “Is this still available?”

Users will have the option to enable the auto-reply function when creating a listing. Meta AI will then generate a customizable response to queries regarding the availability of the item. For instance, a sample auto-reply generated by Meta’s AI assistant could be, “Yes, it’s still available. Do you have any questions?”

Furthermore, Facebook Marketplace is introducing tools to expedite the listing process. Meta AI can now analyze the photos of an item to automatically populate details and suggest a competitive price based on similar listings in the vicinity.

In addition to these updates, users can expect a revamped shipping menu and AI-generated summaries of seller profiles. These summaries will provide potential buyers with insights into the seller’s Facebook account tenure, friend count, and Marketplace activity. This includes the types of items typically sold by the user and their overall rating.
