Revolutionizing Industry with NTT DATA’s Enterprise AI Factories Powered by NVIDIA
NTT DATA and NVIDIA Collaborate to Provide Scalable AI Solutions
NTT DATA has recently unveiled a new initiative aimed at offering organisations cutting-edge NVIDIA-powered platforms that are specifically designed to facilitate the seamless scaling of AI capabilities. This initiative introduces a repeatable and production-ready model that enables businesses to leverage the power of AI effectively.
The offering integrates NVIDIA’s GPU-accelerated computing and high-performance networking with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, including NeMo and NIM Microservices. This results in a comprehensive full-stack agentic AI platform that can be easily deployed in both cloud and edge environments. The platform covers the entire AI lifecycle, from model training to enterprise application development, all within a well-governed framework.
CEO of NTT DATA, Abhijit Dubey, highlighted the shift in how enterprises approach AI deployment, emphasizing the importance of integrating NVIDIA technologies into their enterprise AI factories to provide clients with a secure environment to adopt agentic AI with measurable returns from the outset.
NTT DATA’s enterprise AI factory model aims to bridge the gap that often hinders AI programs from moving successfully from pilot stages to full production systems. The platform is structured to standardize outputs and streamline the process of transitioning from proof-of-concept to operational deployment, thereby reducing time and costs.
Real-world Implementations
Three early adopter cases provide tangible examples of how enterprise AI factories operate in practice. For instance, a renowned cancer research hospital is leveraging NVIDIA HGX platforms, in collaboration with NTT DATA and Dell, to conduct advanced radiology analysis and accelerate model evaluation to support clinical research workflows.
In the automotive manufacturing sector, a global supplier has significantly reduced production setup time by validating workloads on bare metal before scaling up through an AI factory architecture built on NVIDIA infrastructure. Another deployment in technology manufacturing involves a US-based company utilizing NVIDIA-accelerated simulation and 3D visualization to validate a next-generation battery production line before physical deployment.
NTT DATA positions enterprise AI factories as a domain-specific delivery model, with the NVIDIA stack serving as the foundational infrastructure that can be customized sector-by-sector.
NeMo and NIM Integration in AI Factory Stack
The technical integration within the platform consists of two key NVIDIA components. NVIDIA NeMo provides a suite for constructing agentic AI systems on GPU-accelerated infrastructure, while NVIDIA NIM Microservices offer pre-built, GPU-optimized containers with APIs for deploying AI applications. Together, they form a complete, production-ready AI agent platform.
NTT DATA also offers pre-qualified GenAI prototypes developed on this stack to simplify complexity and accelerate the value realization process for clients building sector-specific applications.
John Fanelli, Vice President of Enterprise Software at NVIDIA, emphasized the growing demand for robust and scalable platforms that can seamlessly transition AI initiatives from pilot projects to full-scale production. He praised NTT DATA’s AI factory offerings for providing clients with tailored solutions required to achieve production-grade enterprise AI.
NTT DATA prides itself on being the only global IT services provider actively engaged in all three of NVIDIA’s partner tracks: Solution Provider, Cloud Partner, and Global System Integrator Partner Network.
As businesses face mounting pressure to demonstrate financial returns on AI investments, governance and domain-specific performance have become critical evaluation criteria. The AI factory model is designed to address these challenges systematically.
