Cost of Hope delves into the ongoing conflict between the Duty and Freedom factions within the Zone. As these two opposing groups clash over their perceptions of the Zone – whether as a threat to be contained or a resource to be harnessed – the fragile peace between them shatters, setting the stage for a thrilling new narrative.

Players will once again step into the shoes of Skif, the protagonist introduced in STALKER 2. The expansion seamlessly integrates with the base game, offering a freeform and open-world experience.
