Serious Sam: Shatterverse – A New Roguelite Co-op Shooter Experience
The iconic character Serious Sam is making a triumphant return in Serious Sam: Shatterverse, but this time he is not alone. Joining him are four other versions of himself from different dimensions, brought together by a common goal – to save their shattered universes from the clutches of Uber Mental. Developed by Behaviour Interactive, this new installment in the franchise offers a unique twist as a roguelite co-op shooter, where players can embody one of the five Sams and work together to take down hordes of monsters with a diverse arsenal of weapons.
In the world of Serious Sam: Shatterverse, Uber Mental has wreaked havoc by shattering the Shatterverse and causing chaos across multiple dimensions. The five Sams must unite forces and travel between dimensions to pick up where fallen Sams have left off, battling formidable foes and overcoming challenges along the way. Each gameplay session is dynamic and unpredictable, thanks to the inclusion of modifiers that can alter the game’s mechanics and add new layers of complexity. Players can expect to encounter familiar weapons from previous Serious Sam titles, as well as brand-new tools to aid them in their quest.
