Exciting news for fans of The Blood of Dawnwalker as Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves have officially confirmed that the highly anticipated game will be launching on September 3rd. This announcement was made during a special Road to Launch livestream event where viewers were treated to a new story trailer and a gameplay overview showcasing various aspects of the open world, available activities, and unique gameplay features.

Aside from the release date, Bandai Namco also revealed the different versions of The Blood of Dawnwalker that will be available for purchase. The standard edition, priced at £59.99, will be available in both physical and digital formats. For fans looking for more exclusive content, there is the Eclipse Edition which includes the game, a digital world compendium, the digital soundtrack, a digital prequel comic book, and a pre-order bonus of the Sangoran Wayfarer’s armour set. The ultimate Collector’s Edition goes even further, adding SteelBook, a world map, and a Purearts Coen Figurine in a collector box to the Eclipse Edition content.

Storyline and Gameplay

The Blood of Dawnwalker is set in Europe during the 14th century, a time when the Black Plague decimated populations. The main character, Coen, is thrust into a world of chaos when his sister, Lunka, is saved by a vampire with nefarious intentions. As Coen becomes a Daywalker, he must navigate the fine line between humanity and darkness, with players given the choice to embrace or resist the vampiric powers bestowed upon them. Combat in the game allows for a blend of human and vampire skills, pitting players against a variety of enemies ranging from soldiers to supernatural creatures. The decisions made by players as Coen will shape the narrative and determine the fate of both humanity and the creatures of the night.
