Amazon Updates Fire HD 10 Tablet with Improved RAM and Price Increase

In 2024, Amazon made the Fire HD 8 its final addition to the budget-friendly tablet lineup. However, the tech giant quietly enhanced the Fire HD 10 that was introduced the previous year. Originally offered in 2023 with various storage options, each equipped with 3GB of RAM, the 32GB variant now ships with an upgraded 4GB of RAM. Along with this enhancement comes a slight price increase from $139.99 to $154.99.

Despite the RAM increase in the 32GB version, the Fire HD 10 with 64GB of storage retains the original 3GB of RAM. Both models maintain similar specifications, including a 10.1-inch, 1,920 x 1,200 display, a powerful 2GHz eight-core processor, a long-lasting 13-hour battery, and expandable storage via a microSD card. The updated version is exclusively available with lock screen ads, which can be removed by paying a one-time fee. Those interested in the tablet can still purchase the original 3GB/32GB model for $139.99, but availability is limited.
