Unleashing Power: The Jensen Interceptor GTX Supercharged V8
The Iconic Jensen Interceptor Is Making a Comeback
Exciting news for car enthusiasts as the iconic Jensen Interceptor is set to make a return, this time as a track-only machine powered by a supercharged V8 engine.
Jensen International Automotive, known for their restomods of classic Jensen models, is behind the revival of the Interceptor. However, the new Interceptor GTX is not just a revamped classic; it will be a completely new creation built from scratch.
While details are still limited, what we do know is that the Jensen Interceptor GTX will feature a lightweight aluminium body and chassis, along with a supercharged V8 engine.
JIA is promising an “fully analogue” experience, meaning the supercar will come with physical controls, minimal digital interference, and hopefully, a manual gearbox.

Although there is no confirmed debut date yet, managing director David Duerden has hinted that the reveal could coincide with the 60th anniversary of the original Interceptor.
