While some speculated that this acquisition might signal a spree of similar purchases, Apple treated it as a one-time occurrence, with minimal changes following the transition. Despite being owned by Apple, Sneaky Sasquatch maintains a low profile within the Arcade.

Today, Apple is launching a new initiative with a crossover event between Sneaky Sasquatch and Subway Surfers+ on Apple Arcade. The collaboration brings new character skins, hoverboards, and a themed level to the games.

Subway Surfers+ is one of Apple Arcade’s “App Store Greats,” offering a stripped-down version of the popular mobile game. The crossover event will transform the world of Subway Surfers+ with elements from Sneaky Sasquatch.

Apple’s senior director of Apple Arcade, Alex Rofman, expressed excitement about the crossover, emphasizing the passionate community of players that Sneaky Sasquatch has garnered since its debut.

In addition to the crossover event, Sneaky Sasquatch will receive an update introducing a birdwatching feature, allowing players to discover and photograph various bird species within the game.
