Black Salt Games Announces New Studio Team Trifold and Debut Game Nothing Lost

Black Salt Games has recently revealed the establishment of a new game development studio named Team Trifold. This new addition joins the existing Black Salt Games and Disc 2 studios under the Saltworks Entertainment banner. While each studio maintains its independence, they collaborate closely to share resources and industry experience. Alongside this exciting news, Team Trifold has unveiled their debut game, a generational roguelike titled Nothing Lost.

Generational roguelike, as seen in Nothing Lost, involves a unique gameplay mechanic where each time a hero dies, the next generated hero has the opportunity to acquire the abilities of fallen shamans. This progression system allows players to strengthen their characters with each new attempt, enhancing their chances of climbing higher in the Tower of Souls. However, conquering the tower is no easy task, with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses standing in the way of progress. Players can equip up to three souls of their predecessors, allowing for strategic experimentation to find the most effective combination for reaching the pinnacle.

Despite the anticipation surrounding Nothing Lost, an official release date for the game is yet to be confirmed. Fans eagerly await further updates on this promising title.
