Motorola Edge 70: Unveiling Price, Specs, and Early Launch
Motorola is set to make a splash in the ultra-slim phone market with the upcoming launch of the Edge 70 on November 5th. However, the surprise came early as the phone appeared on Motorola’s official website a week ahead of schedule, unveiling all its features. With a thickness of 5.99mm and a weight of 159g, the Edge 70 may not be the slimmest phone compared to the iPhone Air or Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, but it still holds its own.
Priced at £699.99 in the UK, the Edge 70 comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, the only configuration available. But the real deal comes with the pre-order offer that Motorola is rolling out.
The pre-order deal for the Edge 70 is a game-changer. By participating in a quiz on Motorola’s website, customers can receive an instant £250 discount through an eCoupon sent to their email. This brings the price down to £450.99, making it a compelling option compared to other flagship phones in the market.
But the offer doesn’t stop there. In addition to the discounted price, Motorola is bundling four free gifts with the Edge 70: a fast charger, Watch Fit smartwatch, Buds Loop wireless earbuds, and a Moto Tag. These accessories, if purchased separately, would cost £274.98, adding to the overall savings on the device.
Furthermore, customers can opt for a year of screen protection for just £1, down from the usual price of £31.99, bringing the total savings to nearly £556. Additionally, Motorola is offering a £50 bonus on top of the trade-in value for old devices, further enhancing the savings potential.
While the pre-order offer is enticing, customers have the option to return the device within 14 days for a full refund, no questions asked. This adds an extra layer of assurance for those considering the Edge 70.
When it comes to the specifications, the Edge 70 boasts a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The device features a 4800mAh battery with silicon-carbon technology for improved energy density and faster charging. The camera setup includes a 50Mp main and ultrawide lens, along with a 50Mp front sensor.
Constructed with a blend of glass, aluminum, and a silicone finish, the Edge 70 is available in three colors and offers IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. Running on Android 16 with Moto AI tools, the device is set to receive security updates until 2031 and four Android OS updates.
With its sleek design, top-notch features, and unbeatable pre-order offer, the Motorola Edge 70 is poised to make a mark in the smartphone market. Stay tuned for more updates on the Edge 70 after its official launch on November 5th.
