Global Expansion: Warsaw’s Coding Giants Receives €6 Million Funding for STEM Education Platform
Coding Giants, a renowned international STEM education platform based in Warsaw, has recently secured up to €6 million in venture debt financing to support its expansion efforts.
The funding was provided by Orbit Capital, a prominent investor in the Central and Eastern European region with a substantial investment portfolio exceeding €200 million. It was announced in December 2024 that Coding Giants had successfully closed an investment round of €8.5 million, led by True Global Ventures (TGV).
General Partner at Orbit Capital, Wiktor Namysł, emphasized the effectiveness of venture debt financing for Coding Giants at this stage of their growth, highlighting the company’s proven business model, revenue generation, and successful international operations.
Originally known as Giganci Programowania in Poland, Coding Giants was established in 2018 by Radosław Kulesza, Dawid Leśniakiewicz, Piotr Pełka, and Sebastian Langa. The platform offers a wide range of online and onsite courses in coding, artificial intelligence, and mathematics for young learners aged 6 to 19. Operating in 15 countries, including the US, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, and various Balkan markets, Coding Giants has already impacted over 130,000 students globally.
Utilizing AI-powered tools to personalize learning materials based on individual student progress in real-time, Coding Giants delivers engaging educational experiences through familiar platforms like Minecraft and Roblox.
In addition to its core offerings, Coding Giants organizes educational initiatives such as Gigathon, a major programming competition in Poland, and clickON, a nationwide coding event endorsed by the Ministry of Education for children aged 6 to 18. With a strong community of nearly a thousand instructors blending technology expertise with teaching skills, Coding Giants is committed to empowering young minds.
CEO and co-founder of Coding Giants, Radosław Kulesza, expressed the company’s ambitious growth plans, particularly in Spain and the Americas, with the support of Orbit Capital’s financing. The focus will be on expanding operations in the United States and Mexico, as well as strengthening their presence in Spain through strategic acquisitions.
Dawid Leśniakiewicz, co-founder of Coding Giants, emphasized the importance of coding, AI, and mathematics in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in youth, essential for active participation in the technology-driven world.
The current global demand for practical STEM education is on the rise, while mathematics performance among young learners is declining in many regions. Coding Giants aims to address this challenge through its innovative platform and plans to reach a broader audience of young learners worldwide, supported by the recent financing.
