Legal AI Startup Legora Raises $550 Million in Series E Funding

The legal AI startup Legora made headlines on Wednesday with the announcement of its successful $550 million Series E funding round, elevating its valuation to an impressive $8.8 billion.

Specializing in streamlining workflow tasks for legal professionals, Legora is at the forefront of the industry’s evolution towards AI-powered services that enhance productivity and efficiency.

This significant milestone for Legora comes on the heels of its competitor, Harvey, securing a similar $550 million investment, propelling its valuation to $15.5 billion. In March, Harvey reported an annual recurring revenue exceeding $200 million.

Building on its momentum, Legora’s Series E funding follows a recent $50 million extension to its Series D round, which valued the company at $5.6 billion. Notably, the company’s annual recurring revenue has now surpassed $200 million, marking substantial growth.

Among the key investors in Legora’s latest financing round are Atreides Management, leading the charge, alongside prominent names such as Baron Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Menlo. With a strategic focus on expanding operations across North America, Legora aims to leverage this fresh capital for further growth.
