Exciting news for fans of the original GRIME game as Publisher Kwalee and developer Clover Bite have announced the release of a demo for GRIME II, the highly-anticipated metroidvania sequel.

The demo for GRIME II is now live on Steam, allowing players to get a taste of the new installment in the series.

GRIME II: An Overview

GRIME II invites players to become a “stealer of forms,” continuing the adventure in the action-adventure metroidvania genre. As a Formless, players can mimic art, absorb creatures, and summon molds in their shape.

Explore a new and mysterious land within the GRIME universe, filled with danger, wonder, deadly enemies, and epic bosses. Utilize your surroundings and summoned molds to overcome challenges while delving into a deep world brimming with diverse cultures and characters.

Customize your playstyle by selecting from a range of abilities, weapons, and mold summons. Gain insights into your enemies as you summon their form to assist you in combat and exploration.

Key Features:

• Molds – Shape defeated enemies into molds for special attacks, including throwing enemies, firing projectiles, stunning, and summoning.
• Environmental Combat – Utilize the environment to damage enemies and be cautious as they can do the same to you.
• Parry and Grasp – Employ hand-tendrils to parry attacks or grasp and absorb enemies, advancing your knowledge of their shape.
• A Lived-in World – Discover unique locations with distinct civilizations, cultures, and deep characters to interact with, including structures made of painted nails and giant vases.
