The legendary Honda NSX reborn as JAS Tensei

JAS Motorsport Unveils JAS Tensei: A Honda NSX Restomod Designed by Pininfarina

JAS Motorsport has recently introduced its latest creation, the JAS Tensei, which marks the brand’s entry into the world of supercars. The JAS Tensei is essentially a revamped version of the iconic Honda NSX, with design inputs from renowned design house Pininfarina. The name “Tensei” holds significance as it translates to ‘rebirth’ in Japanese, symbolizing the evolution of the classic NSX.

The core philosophy behind the Tensei is rooted in the original NSX’s principles, with a focus on performance and aesthetic appeal. The supercar boasts a custom-built carbon fiber body that pays homage to the classic design cues of the original NSX, while incorporating modern elements to enhance its overall appeal.

The exterior of the Tensei features distinctive elements such as pop-up headlamps, a redesigned front bumper with an integrated splitter, and LED daytime running lights. The wider fenders and reworked side vents contribute to a sleek and aerodynamic profile. The Y-spoke wheels add a touch of uniqueness to the overall design.

At the rear, the Tensei continues to impress with its L-shaped fascia and retro-style LED taillights, adorned with the brand’s ‘JAS’ logo at the center. The seamlessly integrated rear spoiler further enhances the car’s performance and aesthetics.

While detailed technical specifications of the Tensei have not been released by JAS Motorsport yet, it is anticipated that the supercar will be powered by a reengineered V6 engine derived from the original Honda NSX, promising a thrilling driving experience.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project from JAS Motorsport as they continue to redefine the boundaries of automotive excellence.
