Honor has announced the launch of its Magic8 Lite smartphone in the United Kingdom, bringing a device focused on battery longevity and physical durability to the mid-range market. The handset features a 7500mAh silicon-carbon battery that the company claims can deliver up to three days of use between charges, alongside certifications for drop resistance and water protection.

The announcement, made on 8th December 2025, positions the Magic8 Lite as a practical choice for users who prioritize battery life and build quality over flagship-level processing power. The device will be available through a broad range of UK retailers and mobile networks.

Battery Technology and Charging

The headline feature of the Magic8 Lite is its 7500mAh silicon-carbon battery. Silicon-carbon battery technology allows for higher energy density compared to traditional lithium-ion cells, meaning manufacturers can pack more capacity into the same physical space.
