34BigThings Announces Release Date for Carmageddon: Rogue Shift
Exciting news for gamers as 34BigThings has revealed that Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is set to hit the shelves on February 6th. The game will be available on various platforms including PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, and Switch 2. The announcement came alongside a new gameplay trailer showcasing the array of vehicles and weapons players can expect in this thrilling racing game.
In a previous update, 34BigThings unveiled five vehicles featured in Carmageddon: Rogue Shift. Each vehicle offers unique characteristics to cater to different playstyles. From the versatile Eagle GT to the robust Clunker, players will have a variety of options to choose from. The Firecracker Turbo prioritizes speed, while the SQR-NE55 strikes a balance in all stats. Lastly, the Hawk GT boasts high offensive capabilities and acceleration, albeit at the cost of handling.
Set in the dystopian year of 2050, Carmageddon: Rogue Shift plunges players into a world overrun by the Wasted, forcing humanity to seek refuge indoors at night. However, street racers see an opportunity amidst the chaos, racing for wealth, fame, and a chance at salvation off-planet. The game features 15 vehicles with distinct front-wheel drive (FWD), rear-wheel drive (RWD), and all-wheel drive (AWD) options, each with their own set of stats. With 13 weapon classes, from shotguns to rocket launchers, players can upgrade their arsenal for maximum impact.
Players can further customize their experience with over 80 perks, enhancing their vehicle loadouts for strategic advantage. Dynamic weather and a day-night cycle add an extra layer of challenge to the race tracks. Campaign events are randomly generated, ensuring each playthrough is unique.
