Tesla Roadster trademark reveals glimpse of its new design

New Trademark Applications Filed by Tesla for Next-Generation Roadster

Tesla has recently submitted two trademark applications for the upcoming iteration of their iconic Roadster. These applications consist of a fresh “Roadster” wordmark and a minimalist line drawing showcasing the car’s basic outline.

Anticipated Launch Date and Demo Event

During a shareholder meeting last year, CEO Elon Musk disclosed that production of the new Tesla Roadster is projected to commence in mid-to-late 2027. However, there is excitement brewing as a demonstration event is slated for April 1, 2026, potentially offering a glimpse of the highly anticipated vehicle sooner than expected.

Evolution of the Tesla Roadster

The original Tesla Roadster made its debut in 2008, followed by the introduction of the second-generation model in 2017. Priced at $200,000 to $250,000 during its release, the Roadster promised impressive performance capabilities. Elon Musk boasted that the car could accelerate from 0-60 mph in a mere 1.9 seconds and achieve a top speed exceeding 250 mph.
