Pre-orders Now Live for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game
Exciting news for fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra! Gameplay Group International and Paramount Games have officially announced that pre-orders are now available for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game. This announcement comes hot on the heels of a 30-minute showcase that took place at Evo 2026, giving fans a closer look at the gameplay and revealing the season one characters.
Players who pre-order Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will gain access to a closed beta running from July 2nd to July 5th. The beta will feature exclusive gold color variants for fan-favorite characters Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Toph, and Sokka, as well as the Samurai Appa support character skin.
For those looking for an even more immersive experience, the deluxe edition of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game offers additional perks including a digital art book, music soundtrack, unique HUDs, and the Year 1 Pass. The Year 1 Pass includes access to additional characters such as Bolin, Ty Lee, Lin Beifong, Uncle Iroh, and a fifth character to be determined by a community vote.
The community vote for the fifth character will be exclusive to pre-order customers and will feature five exciting options:
- Amon – The mysterious leader of the Equalists who disrupts the balance of Republic City.
- Kuvira – The disciplined metalbender who unites the Earth Kingdom into a militarized empire.
- Bumi – The eccentric King Bumi of Omashu known for his tactical brilliance and earthbending mastery.
- Asami – The brilliant engineer and non-bending fighter who is a valuable ally to Korra’s Team Avatar.
- Tenzin – Korra’s wise mentor dedicated to preserving and rebuilding the Air Nation.
The community vote is set to open later this summer. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is priced at £24.99 for the standard version and £41.99 for the deluxe edition. The game will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, Switch, and Switch 2 with full cross play support at launch. While the initial release will be digital, a physical edition is planned for later this year. Mark your calendars as the game is set to launch on July 23rd.
