DOJO AI Secures €5.1 Million Seed Round for Intelligent Marketing Platform
DOJO AI, a cutting-edge Portuguese intelligent marketing system, has recently announced a successful €5.1 million ($6 million) Seed round, valuing the company at €25 million ($30 million). The funding round was led by Armilar, with additional participation from Heartfelt VC. This financial injection will fuel further product development and support the company’s expansion in the United States.
In a statement, DOJO AI co-founder and co-CEO Duarte Garrido emphasized the importance of leveraging AI technology to transform the marketing landscape. He highlighted the challenges faced by marketers due to the overwhelming volume of data and the lack of actionable insights. DOJO AI aims to address this issue by providing a comprehensive solution that analyzes marketing data in context and enables informed decision-making.
The Seed round places DOJO AI among other notable AI marketing companies, including Aizy, First Concepts, Agaton, Realm, Outcraft AI, and Zynt. These companies collectively raised over €22 million, reflecting a growing trend in funding for AI platforms that enhance marketing, creative work, sales, and revenue operations.
DOJO AI co-founder and co-CEO Antonio Alegria expressed his vision for the platform, emphasizing its role in driving innovation and efficiency in the marketing industry. He highlighted DOJO AI’s unique capabilities, such as real-time monitoring, continuous learning, and autonomous decision-making, enabled by advanced AI technology.
Founded in 2024, DOJO AI is the result of the collaboration between two industry veterans, Duarte Garrido and Antonio Alegria. Garrido’s extensive marketing experience at global brands like Coca-Cola and Sky, combined with Alegria’s expertise in AI and data architecture, has positioned DOJO AI as a leader in intelligent marketing solutions.
The platform’s advanced capabilities include monitoring campaigns, optimizing SEO performance, generating content, and leveraging AI agents to enhance decision-making. The DOJO Graph, a unique feature of the platform, creates a dynamic digital twin of each customer’s marketing operations, enabling intelligent, data-driven strategies.
Armilar’s Managing Partner, Pedro Ribeiro Santos, commended DOJO AI’s innovative approach to marketing technology and highlighted the founders’ deep industry knowledge and technical expertise. The partnership aims to redefine how companies leverage marketing data for strategic decision-making.
DOJO AI has experienced rapid growth since its launch, with a 20% month-on-month increase in customer base. Major brands like CoinDesk, PensionBee, and Morningstar have already adopted the platform, reporting significant improvements in customer acquisition costs and marketing performance.
With the recent funding, DOJO AI plans to enhance its AI capabilities, expand its presence in the U.S. market, and further optimize its platform for complex use cases. The company’s commitment to innovation and customer success underscores its position as a key player in the evolving marketing technology landscape.
