Welcome Deadpool, Loki, and Blade to the Marvel Tōkon Roster!

The Marvel Tōkon roster has expanded with the exciting addition of comic book icons Deadpool, Loki, and Blade, as announced by PlayStation and Arc System Works. Revealed at EVO 2026 through a thrilling gameplay trailer, fans were also treated to news of the upcoming Marvel Tōkon open beta scheduled for July 24th to July 26th, available on PS5 and PC.

The inclusion of these new characters brings the total number of playable fighters at launch to 20, with Ghost Rider, Blade, Loki, and Deadpool forming an unexpected superhero team known as the Samurai Outriders. This dark and diverse group of heroes will face challenges and evolve as a team in the anticipated Episode Mode.

In addition to the character reveals, a new stage called Asgard has been introduced in the latest trailer. This stage features iconic areas such as the Observatory, Bifrost Bridge, Throne Room, Treasure Vault, and Yggdrasil, providing a visually stunning backdrop for intense battles. Marvel fans can expect to discover numerous Easter eggs and character cameos throughout the Asgard stage.
