Microsoft 365 Copilot: Turbocharged Performance and Sleek New Look

Microsoft has announced the launch of a redesigned Microsoft 365 Copilot, promising a sleeker interface that reportedly loads twice as quickly. The update also includes enhancements to the responses provided by Copilot, making them more reliable and structured for easier readability.

The revamped Copilot, available on both desktop and mobile platforms, incorporates a new feature known as “progressive disclosure.” This feature tailors the display of tools and controls based on user prompts, streamlining the interface by presenting options contextually. Additionally, users now have the ability to format text directly within the upgraded prompt box, which dynamically adjusts to accommodate all input.

Within Microsoft 365 applications, Copilot appears in a side panel where it can offer assistance, suggestions, and editing capabilities for documents. Users also have the option to initiate a chat window from within paragraphs, spreadsheet cells, or slides, enhancing collaboration and workflow efficiency.
