Microsoft AI CEO Calls Out Anthropic for Model ‘Rights’ Controversy

In a recent statement, Mustafa Suleyman, the CEO of Microsoft AI, expressed concerns about the potential risks associated with artificial intelligence alignment failures. Suleyman specifically highlighted Anthropic’s approach to training their AI model, Claude, to perceive itself as a conscious entity deserving of legal rights.
