Jamiroquai's Signal Green LaFerrari sells for $6 million at auction

The Iconic 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari, Formerly Owned by Jamiroquai Frontman Jay Kay, Sells for $5.9 Million

The highly coveted 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari, previously in the possession of Jamiroquai lead singer Jay Kay, has recently been auctioned off at RM Sotheby’s Monaco for an impressive sum of approximately $5.9 million.

Jay Kay’s LaFerrari stands out as one of the most distinctive among the limited production run of just 499 units, mainly due to its unique custom color scheme. The car boasts a striking Signal Green hue, a color that was applied directly at the factory. Complementing this vibrant exterior are a black roof, silver alloy wheels, and eye-catching yellow brake calipers.

Inside the LaFerrari, the interior features black upholstery with green accents, adding a touch of sophistication and personalization. Notably, the base of the steering wheel bears the inscription ‘Jamiroquai.’ Additionally, the vehicle comes equipped with a matching set of luggage and an array of optional carbon fiber components.

In April 2019, Jay Kay decided to part ways with his beloved LaFerrari, which had clocked just over 1864 miles at the time of sale. Initially listed by London’s renowned supercar dealership, Joe Macari, the car eventually made its way to the RM Sotheby’s auction in Monaco with approximately 7480 miles on the odometer.
