Revolutionary Denza Z9 GT: Affordable Luxury at $49,000
Denza Z9 GT EV: Affordable Luxury Electric Shooting Brake
Denza has introduced a new trim for its Z9 GT EV in China, making this high-performance electric vehicle more accessible to buyers. The e3 Flash Charge variant starts at 329,800 yuan, approximately $49,000, offering the same impressive 1,140 hp tri-motor powertrain as the pricier Performance model, which costs around 40,000 yuan or $6000 more.
With the e3 Flash Charge trim, customers can now enjoy the potent electric shooting brake at a lower price point. The vehicle features an all-wheel-drive configuration with a 230 kW front motor and two 310 kW permanent-magnet motors at the rear, generating a remarkable 892 lb ft of torque.
The Denza Z9 GT EV boasts a swift acceleration, achieving a 0-62 mph time of just 2.8 seconds. These performance figures are exceptional, especially considering the vehicle’s relatively affordable price tag of around $49,000.
The cost savings of the e3 Flash Charge model come from adjustments in equipment rather than compromising performance. For instance, it replaces the carbon-ceramic brakes of the Performance variant with ventilated cast-iron discs. Additionally, some of the more extravagant interior features have been omitted in the new trim.

Despite the cost-effective changes, the Denza Z9 GT EV e3 Flash Charge model retains the advanced DiPilot 5.0 driver-assistance system. This includes features like city navigation on autopilot and automated parking, enhancing the overall driving experience.
